Unrestricted Flight #
You have the freedom to select any aircraft of your choice; there’s no need to rent one. If you own an airplane, you can use it to fly and earn. Depart from any airport across the globe, whether it’s a VFR or IFR flight, and decide your ultimate destination for landing. Upon completing your flight, you will earn both “PAX” and “Experience Points,” which can be utilized to enhance your pilot ranking and boost your earnings. This mission is particularly useful for the free relocation of one’s airplane and/or flight license.
Note: You must have at least one pilot license to undertake this mission.
If you own a pilot license, it will be automatically displayed and selected. If you have more than one active license, you can choose which one you want to use for the flight. In the “Timer 24 h – 84 h” box, the real-time status of the timers for that license will be shown.
The departure field (ICAO) is automatically filled if you are already on board your aircraft, but you can manually enter the ICAO if you prefer. The arrival airport field is optional, as are the alternate and the expected date and time of the flight.
If you own one or more aircraft, you can select them from the “Your Airplane” dropdown menu. This list shows all your aircraft, but only those in white font are selectable once you are on board your aircraft. Aircraft with an active “Ground Operation” timer are not selectable until the timer expires.
If you have set your SimBrief username in the “Settings” – “Connections” section, you can directly import the flight plan you have generated. Once imported, you will also have access to “Flight Summary”, “Route & Sig. WX Charts”, and “Live Weather” to easily consult the documents needed for your flight.
When you are ready, press “Start Flight” to begin your journey.
Asset Relocation #
To move a pilot license and/or an airplane, start a flight mission from the airport where the asset is located. The system automatically checks the position of the objects and, before takeoff, will ask you if you want to transfer them. You can move the objects separately (just the license, just the airplane, or both). Once the flight is completed, the objects will be automatically repositioned at your destination.
