Touch & Win is SimFly’s precision landing competition, where the top 10 pilots win PAX Tokens.
Pilots pay an entry fee in PAX Tokens and compete to achieve the best possible landing score.
The Net Prize Pool is generated from all entry fees collected for the event and is distributed to the top 10 pilots, based on the official final SimFly leaderboard.

Important
For each competition, the percentage of the total amount removed from the market through burn (e.g., 20%) is clearly indicated.
The remaining portion constitutes the net prize pool, which is distributed to the winners.
Prize Pool and Distribution #
The total prize pool is formed by the sum of all entry fees paid by participants.
- A percentage of the total is retained by SimFly and removed from the market via burn
- The remaining portion forms the net prize pool
- The net prize pool is distributed to winners according to the defined percentages
Competition Format #
Each Touch & Win competition defines a specific operational setup, which may include:
- a mandatory departure airport or a minimum linear distance (NM) requirement, while allowing pilots to freely choose their preferred departure runway
- a mandatory arrival airport
- one or more valid landing runways
- one or more allowed aircraft
Some competitions may be restricted to Premium users.
Only attempts that fully comply with the active event conditions will be evaluated.
Pilot Responsibility #
It is the pilot’s responsibility to ensure, before takeoff, that the flight fully complies with all competition requirements.
Flights performed as Touch & Win are still analyzed by SimFly and generate standard PAX Tokens and XP earnings, just like any other mission.
Allowed Flights #
Defined Route Challenge
The pilot must complete a flight between a specific departure airport and a specific arrival airport.
Minimum Distance Challenge
The pilot is free to choose the departure airport but must respect a minimum linear distance between departure and arrival.
Linear distance refers to the direct distance, expressed in nautical miles, between the two airports. The actual flown distance is not considered.
The chosen route does not directly affect the score, unless otherwise specified in the competition rules.
Attention
The pilot license must be located at the designated departure airport.
At the end of the flight, it will be moved to the arrival airport, as in standard Airplane Rental flights.
SimFly airplanes, personally owned airplanes, or rented airplanes may be used for the mission.
If a personal or rented airplane is used, it will automatically be transferred to the arrival airport at the end of the mission.
Runway Validity #
If the destination airport has multiple runways, the event rules will specify which ones are valid.
The pilot must land on an approved runway.
- Landing on a non-valid runway may result in a zero score
- A heavy penalty may be applied
- The attempt may be excluded from the leaderboard
Each runway can be used in both directions unless otherwise specified.

Attention
Landing at the correct airport is not sufficient if the runway used is not among those valid for the competition.
In the case of a touch & go, the landing is not evaluated. The pilot may perform additional attempts until a full stop landing is completed, which will be considered valid.
Entry and Participation Fee #
To participate in a Touch & Win competition, the pilot must access the event page on SimFly and complete the registration through the dedicated interface.

Attention: To start the mission, the pilot must already be inside the selected aircraft at the departure airport. This is required because the system automatically fills in the departure airport ICAO code and the aircraft ICAO code.
Once the flight is started, the entry fee in PAX Tokens is immediately deducted from the user’s balance.
Each new attempt requires a new registration and a new entry fee, unless otherwise specified.
No Refund Policy #
The entry fee is non-refundable in case of:
- interrupted flight
- connection loss
- simulator crash
- client closure
- incomplete data
- invalid attempt
This rule is necessary because IT systems cannot reliably determine whether a mission interruption is caused by technical issues or intentional user actions.
Multiple Attempts #
Unless otherwise specified, a pilot may participate multiple times in the same competition.
Each valid attempt is recorded as an independent participation and generates its own score.
Operational Restrictions #
Auto-Land
The use of Auto-Land is not allowed.
Autopilot below 2000 ft AGL
Autopilot must be disengaged above 2000 feet AGL during the descent phase.
If the system detects autopilot engaged, or re-engaged, below this altitude, a penalty of 2 points will be applied for each detection.
All detections are handled automatically by the system.
Scoring System #
Each landing is analyzed by SimFly using data recorded by the flight simulator.
The final score is determined by a combination of technical parameters, evaluated consistently across all participants.

Main Evaluation Factors #
- aircraft weight at landing
- first touchdown point on the runway
- lateral deviation from centerline
- longitudinal deviation from the touchdown zone target
- landing rate
- G-force
- bounces
- maximum lateral deviation after touchdown, until 30 knots
- wind intensity and direction
Landing Reference Model #
Ideal Touchdown Point
The ideal touchdown point is defined as the imaginary line exactly centered between the two runway aiming point markings (yellow dot).

For smaller airports without the two white aiming point markings on the runway, the touchdown point is generally identified just beyond the runway number markings.

Lateral Reference
The runway centerline is used as the lateral reference.
Score Weighting #
Each main parameter can reach a maximum of 100 points.
Individually evaluated:
- landing rate
- G-force
- lateral distance
- longitudinal distance
- maximum lateral deviation after touchdown
Weight distribution:
- 45% landing rate
- 10% G-force
- 45% combined distances
The maximum achievable score is 190 points, excluding possible crosswind bonuses.
Bounces, irregularities, or anomalies during landing may reduce the final score.
Performance Requirement #
After touchdown, the pilot must maintain control of the aircraft and remain as aligned as possible with the centerline until reaching 30 knots.
Invalid Attempts, Zero Score and Penalties #
An attempt may receive a very low score, a zero score, or be excluded in cases including, but not limited to:
- landing at the wrong airport
- landing on a non-valid runway
- minimum distance not respected
- use of Auto-Land
- violation of operational restrictions
- incomplete, corrupted, or non-analyzable data
- connection loss during flight
- technical anomalies preventing proper evaluation
SimFly reserves the right to invalidate any attempt that presents inconsistent or non-comparable data.
Official Validation #
The final validity of each attempt is determined exclusively by SimFly systems.
Official SimFly Score #
The official competition score is solely the one calculated and recorded by SimFly.
Any discrepancies with third-party software, plugins, or tools are not considered valid for rankings, prizes, disputes, or result reviews.
SimFly uses a proprietary analysis system designed to ensure consistency, uniformity, and fairness for all participants.
Live Leaderboard and Final Ranking #
After each attempt, the pilot can view a flight summary page showing key data and the assigned score.
From this page, the live leaderboard can be accessed and is updated in real time.
At the end of the competition, the live leaderboard becomes the official final ranking.

Prize Distribution Table #
| Position | Share |
| 1st place | 30% |
| 2nd place | 20% |
| 3rd place | 15% |
| 4th place | 10% |
| 5th place | 7% |
| 6th place | 5% |
| 7th place | 4% |
| 8th place | 3% |
| 9th place | 3% |
| 10th place | 3% |
The total distributed always corresponds to 100% of the net prize pool.
If the final leaderboard has fewer than 10 valid winners, the shares of unassigned positions are redistributed proportionally among the actual winners, while maintaining the consistency of the distribution system.
Prize Allocation #
At the end of the competition, prizes are automatically awarded to the winners within 2 days after the event has ended.
PAX Tokens rewards are credited to the user’s PAX Tokens Wallet with reference to the competition and achieved position.
The portion retained by SimFly is removed from the market via burn and is not included in the distributed prize pool.
Acceptance of Rules #
By participating in the competition, the pilot confirms having read, understood, and fully accepted these rules.
