Welcome to the SimFly Operations Guide #
Welcome to the operational heart of SimFly.
This guide is your reference point to understand how the platform works and to help you get the most out of your time in SimFly — whether you simply want to fly, manage assets, or, over time, build a real virtual career.
You don’t need to know everything right away.
You don’t need to be an expert.
You can start flying immediately and, whenever you want, come back here to explore what truly interests you.
SimFly grows over time, and this guide grows with you. The platform is constantly evolving: new features, new mechanics, and new opportunities are introduced regularly. This guide exists to help you stay aligned with those changes, understand them easily, and use them effectively — only when you feel ready.
Think of this Wiki not as a simple manual, but as a living knowledge base, always available when you decide to take the next step.
Where to Start #
If you’re new to SimFly, the ideal starting point is the Getting Started section.
Here you’ll find everything you need to begin without friction: account creation, client installation, initial setup, and the basic concepts required to start flying right away.
SimFly is designed to be accessible from day one.
The advanced parts can wait — starting with the basics makes everything smoother and more enjoyable.
Going Deeper #
With time and experience, you’ll discover that SimFly offers much more than just flying.
This guide gradually introduces the more advanced aspects of the platform: operational mechanics, progression systems, asset management, and economic dynamics.
You don’t need to understand everything at the beginning.
But when you want to go deeper, all the information you need is here.
What Is SimFly #
SimFly is a next-generation add-on for flight simulators, compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane, and Prepar3D.
What makes SimFly unique is its fully integrated economic ecosystem. Every activity — from flying missions to managing assets — is connected to a structured system designed to reflect dynamics similar to those of real-world aviation and business.
In SimFly, flying remains simple and fun, but it also becomes more precise, engaging, and, why not, competence-driven; every action contributes to a concrete and measurable progression over time.
Progression, XP, and PAX Tokens #
During flight and operational activities, pilots earn XP and PAX Tokens.
XP represents your personal and operational growth. It allows you to level up, unlock upgrades, reduce operational limits, and make your activities increasingly efficient.
PAX Tokens are the currency of the SimFly ecosystem and are generated through:
completed flights and missions
flight performance and operational efficiency
ownership of income-generating assets, such as rental aircraft and airports
At the beginning, there’s no need to optimize anything: fly, gain experience, and enjoy the journey. Everything else will come naturally with time.
A Real, User-Driven Economy #
At the center of SimFly is the User Marketplace.
Here, users interact directly with each other by buying and selling assets such as licenses, aircraft, airports, and PAX Tokens. Prices, expressed in PAX Tokens or USD, are not set by the system but are shaped by real supply and demand, based on user decisions.
USD earnings generated from these operations are credited to the user’s Fiat Wallet.
Funds accumulated in the Fiat Wallet can be withdrawn via:
bank transfer
PayPal
crypto
This aspect is also optional: you can explore it whenever you feel ready.
Beyond Flying #
SimFly is not just about completing missions.
It also introduces strategic and management elements that allow each user to experience the platform in a personal way.
Some fly purely for passion.
Some focus on improving performance, growing their assets, and developing their career.
Some concentrate on immediate USD earnings, without necessarily building long-term assets or career progression.
Others choose to balance everything: flying for passion, growing their career, increasing USD earnings over time, and gradually building a portfolio of assets.
There is no single “right” way to experience SimFly: every path is valid and personal.
Your Path in SimFly #
In SimFly, you can simply fly for enjoyment — or, if you choose, build something more structured over time.
Every flight matters.
Every decision matters.
But everything happens at your own pace.
This guide is here to support you along the way, whenever you need it.
Welcome aboard. ✈️
