“Milestone Flights” are worldwide events of great interest that require our support to transport passengers and cargo to special destinations.
In addition to always offering bonuses in XP and/or PAX, they provide an excellent opportunity to discover unknown parts of the world and to challenge ourselves with different takeoff and landing procedures compared to our usual routes. A practical, easy-to-use online calendar allows us to view all scheduled “Milestone Flight” events, ensuring that we don’t miss any global appointment.
Each completed “Milestone Flight” not only grants XP and/or PAX bonuses but also awards a “Milestone Badge” that will be proudly displayed in the pilot’s logbook.
Milestone Flights Features #
Here are the key features that define a Milestone Flight:
- Start date and time
- End date and time
- Description
- Eligible pilot license grades
- Allowed aircraft types
- Departure and/or destination airport
- Repeatable or one-time event
- XP reward
- PAX reward
- “Milestone” badge
Milestone Flight Participation Requirements #
To participate in Milestone Flights, simply comply, during the event period, with the rules regarding the designated departure and/or arrival airports, along with any other additional requirements such as pilot license level, aircraft type, etc.
Any mission undertaken that meets the Milestone Flight requirements grants the corresponding reward and Badge.
Specific Rules #
The indicated times always refer to takeoff and/or landing, not the start or end of the mission. The start date and time of a Milestone Flight apply to the departure airport: taking off before the specified time means forfeiting the reward. The end date and time, on the other hand, apply to the landing time at the destination airport.
Examples:
- If the rule specifies taking off from KJFK between 00:00Z and 23:59Z on a given day, with no restrictions on the destination, any takeoff within these times guarantees the reward, even if the landing occurs afterward
- If the rule requires landing at LIMC between 12:00Z and 18:00Z, you can take off at any time, but the landing must occur within the specified window
Multiple Events #
If two or more events are active simultaneously, only the Milestone Flight with priority at the departure airport will be rewarded.
Examples:
- Two Milestone Flights are active:
- Event 1: Takeoff or landing from any airport in England
- Event 2: Takeoff or landing at LFPG or LFPO
- If I fly from EGLL to LFPG, I will receive the reward for Event 1
- If I fly from LFPG to EGLL, I will receive the reward for Event 2
- If I fly from LFPG to LFPO, I will receive the reward for Event 2 (only one reward)
- If I fly from LIMC to EGLL, I will receive the reward for Event 1
Repeatable Events #
A repeatable Milestone Flight allows pilots to earn the bonuses multiple times within the specified timeframe.
If the event is not repeatable, only one reward will be granted, and any subsequent flights will not yield additional rewards.
This control is applied to each individual pilot license; therefore, a player with multiple pilot licenses can participate in non-repeatable events multiple times by assigning a different license to each flight.
Reward Allocation #
Rewards can be assigned as a fixed amount or as a percentage bonus based on flight earnings. XP and/or PAX rewards will be displayed at the end of the flight in the “Flight Report”.
Additionally, PAX rewards will also be listed as a separate entry in the “Transaction Details” section.
Milestone Flight Series Rewards #
Some “Milestone Flights” are interconnected and part of a series of consecutive flights over time. Completing all the flights in the sequence and earning all the related “Milestone Badges” will grant the pilot a significant final bonus reward.
Conclusion #
Milestone Flights represent a unique opportunity for pilots to explore the world, refine their flying skills, and earn valuable rewards. Participating in these events not only allows you to accumulate XP and PAX rewards but also brings the thrill of taking part in special missions and standing out with “Milestone Badges” in your logbook.
Whether you are an experienced pilot or a newcomer, Milestone Flights are the perfect way to expand your horizons and get the most out of your flying experience.
